Get Crafty Friday {45}

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful week! This week has been a busy one! We took Kaylee to the doctor recently and it came to the doctor’s attention that she was not gaining weight like she is supposed to. We were referred to the pediatric gastroenterologist. The gasroenterologist asked us a few questions, examined Kaylee and sent us to get blood work done. So…on Saturday we took her to the lab where they proceeded to take 6 vials of blood. 6 vials!!! From a 2 year old!! The lab tech was appalled that the doctor would even consider taking so much blood from a child in one sitting. It was so hard for Kenny and I to get Kaylee to calm down and hold still long enough for the lab tech to get the blood. Needless to say she was a mess and didn’t want anyone coming near her with a needle. But we got her to relax a bit and the tech was able to take the blood…all 6 vials. Now we have to wait for the results =\
In other news, I didn’t get to go to the NYC Wine and Food Festival on Friday due to heavy NYC traffic and a misunderstanding but I did get to go on Sunday and it was AMAZING!! I will be writing a separate post so that I can share everything I did but I will say that I ate a lot and met some cool people =)
