Disney’s Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story #BlankandBow

Hey everyone! I am so excited to share this short film with you. Disney Interactive has teamed up with Google  to launch “Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story,” an original animated short film which is based on the popular Disney Parks Vinylmation collectible franchise. “Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story” is a 38 minute stop-motion animated film that tells the story of Blank, an unpainted Vinylmation, on an epic adventure through an original new world to find his lost soulmate. It is such a wonderful short film filled with love, friendship, creativity, adventure, and identity.

I love anything Disney. I’ve always been a big fan ever since I was a little girl so watching this short film was such a treat. I was blown away by how Disney was able to put so much emotion into this film. Even though there are no words, you can clearly feel the emotions from the characters and identify with them. At many points in my life I found myself struggling to find my own identity. When I was in college, I wanted to figure out who I was and I what I wanted to do with my life. When I got married, I wanted to be part of the “we” and still maintain my own sense of self. When my daughter was born, I wanted to be an amazing mom to my and wife without losing myself, so I was definitely able to relate to Blank and his quest for maintaining his individuality. There are so many instances in this film of unwavering love and friendship that it really tugs at your heartstrings. It’s a beautiful example of how love for yourself and love for others can get you through anything and make a change. It’s a really great film and I encourage you to watch it especially if you’ve ever faced adversity.
