There is nothing better on a cold day than a nice cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows. When TruMoo came out with their special edition Chocolate Marshmallow milk, I had to try it. With the weather being so cold and with it snowing every other day, it’s hard for a pregnant lady like me to venture out to get the things that I want (and crave!) I’ve had insane cabin fever and just wanted to go out and do the things that I want and enjoy. In the summer, when my daughter and I have cabin fever, we go out to the smoothie shop or ice cream shop to get smoothies or milkshakes. We sit and enjoy ourselves before returning home so that we can break up the day a little. In the winter, it’s hard to do that. So, to get over the cabin fever and fulfill my craving, I decided to whip up some delicious S’mores Milkshakes using TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow milk!
On a non-snowy day, I went to my local supermarket and found the TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow milk in the refrigeration section (where they have all of the other milks.) What I really love about this product, besides the great chocolate marshmallow flavor, is that it has no artificial growth hormones, no high fructose corn syrup, and is fresh from the dairy. It’s hard to find products these days that taste good that don’t have corn syrup in them. My daughter is a sucker for flavored milk but I hate giving her those syrupy concoctions that I know are not the best for her. Finding the right balance between happy and healthy is never easy. - 1 1/2 cups TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow Milk
- 1 cup of Ice
- 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream
- 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
- 1 tbsp confectioner’s sugar
- 6 graham crackers, crushed (reserve some for garnish)
- Add ice, ice cream, TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow Milk, and graham crackers into a blender.
- Blend until the mixture is smooth and ice has been completely crushed.
- In a bowl, whip the heavy cream and confectioner’s sugar together.
- Pour the milkshake into glasses and top with whipped cream and leftover graham crackers.
