Have you heard of We Are Knitters? They are this super cool company with the most gorgeous yarn and fabulous knit and crochet kits! Yes, they are called We Are Knitters but they do have crochet kits as well. So, even if you don’t knit, you can get a wonderful crochet kit instead! I was so excited to have the opportunity to try one of the kits from We Are Knitters. I decided to try the Samasana Blanket kit made with their warm and comfy wool yarn. It’s a gorgeous chunky ripple pattern that was quick and easy to work up.

blanketkitpackage

I received my kit really quickly and I was so super excited! The wool came in these simple bags, separated by color. The smaller bag contained some of the yarn while the larger bag contained the rest of the yarn and the other tools needed for the kit including the 15mm crochet hook, a “We Are Knitters” tag and needle, and the pattern instructions. I unpacked everything (and photographed it) and set out to make my very own Samasana Blanket.

The pattern worked up quickly. I was a tiny bit confused at first (ripples always get me) but I soon found my groove and was able to finish the blanket within a few days. The yarn is so beautiful to work with and handmade beechwood hook glided through the yarn effortlessly. I am normally very particular about my hooks but I really liked this one. As you can tell, I am SUPER in love with the yarn. I cannot wait to scoop up some more for other projects. It was wonderful to work with. I have a love affair with chunky yarn and this yarn was just perfect.

Overall, this kit was just fabulous. I really want to try some of the knitting kits too. There are many different types of pattern kits to choose from at WeAreKnitters.com. There are scarves, hats, sweaters, blankets and more! But don’t take my word for it. Stop by the site and check out all of the beautiful kits and yarn available at WeAreKnitters.com.
