Welcome to back to Get Crafty Friday! If it’s your first time here, thank you for joining us! I hope you will stop by and spend some time checking out the other projects and share what you have been working on this week!

I bet some of you are wondering what happened to my blog. Well, I got an upgrade! I finally made the move over from Blogger to WordPress and even though it was a bit of a headache and cost a pretty penny, I’m so happy that I made the switch. I am loving all that WordPress has to offer and I hope that I can maximize it’s potential to bring some better content to you. I hope you like the new look!

Thank you for stopping by, sharing your projects, and visiting the great bloggers that link up here today. I hope you all have a happy Friday and a wonderful weekend!

  1. You mentioned that you consider Word Press an upgrade from Blogger. I’m just curious as to why that is – I’ve only worked with Blogger, so I have no comparison, but I’d like to hear notes from someone who’s worked with both.

    1. I moved to a self-hosted WP site because I wanted to monetize my blog. My blog has become my primary source of income as a SAHM so it was time for me to take it to the next step. WP, in my opinion, is a more flexible platform, provides excellent SEO and the best part is that I have total control over my content. On Blogger you do own your content but Google still has some rights to it. If you’re not blogging for monetary purposes, then Blogger is a totally great platform. For me, personally, I moved so that I could have more freedom to earn from my blog. I hope that gives you some insight πŸ™‚
