Materials:

• Approximately 31-179 yds of Category 4 Medium Weight Cotton Yarn; I used Knit Picks Dishie* yarn in the Conch colorway
• Size I 5.5mm Furls Libra Streamline Zodiac Crochet Hook*
• Yarn Needle* for weaving ends
• Scissors*

Skill Level:

Easy

Abbreviations:

BL – back loop
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
st(s) – stitch(es)
() – indicates stitch counts
* – indicates instructions to be repeated

Gauge:

16 stitches & 14.8 rows = 4″ (in sc)

Finished Sizes:

• 5″ x 5″
• 6″ x 6″
• 9″x9″
• 12″x12″

Notes:

• This pattern is written in US terms.
• Sizing will vary depending on how tightly or loosely you crochet. If you would like to keep the sizing the same, please check your gauge before starting this project.

Multiple:

Chain any number of stitches

Written Instructions:

5″ Washcloth

Ch 20
Row 1: Work 1 sc into the 2nd ch from hook, work 1 sc into each remaining st across, turn. (19 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc into the first st, 1 sc into the BL of each of the next 17 sts, 1 sc into the last st, turn. (19 sts)
Rows 3-19: Repeat Row 2

Finish:

• Fasten off, weave ends.
• (Optional) You can add a simple border by joining your yarn with a sl st into any stitch, sc evenly around placing 3 sc sts into each corner, join in beginning sc with an invisible join. Fasten off, weave ends.

6″ Washcloth

Ch 24
Row 1: Work 1 sc into the 2nd ch from hook, work 1 sc into each remaining st across, turn. (23 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc into the first st, 1 sc into the BL of each of the next 21 sts, 1 sc into the last st, turn. (23 sts)
Rows 3-23: Repeat Row 2

Finish:

• Fasten off, weave ends.

Rows 3-34: Repeat Row 2

Finish:
