Materials:
- Approximately 33-190 yds of Category 4 Medium Weight Cotton Yarn; I used Knit Picks Dishie* yarn in the Mulberry colorway
- Size I 5.5mm Furls Streamline Fjord Crochet Hook*
- Yarn Needle* for weaving ends
- Scissors*

ch – chain
sc – single crochet
sk – skip
st(s) – stitch(es)
() – indicates stitch counts
* – indicates instructions to be repeated
Gauge:
16 stitches & 15.2 rows = 4″ (in pattern stitch)
Finished Sizes:
- 5″ x 5″
- 6″ x 6″
- 9″x9″
- 12″x12″
Notes:
- This pattern is written in US terms.
- Sizing will vary depending on how tightly or loosely you crochet. If you would like to keep the sizing the same, please check your gauge before starting this project.

Written Instructions:
5″ Washcloth
Ch 23
Row 1: Work 1 sc into the 3rd ch from hook, *sk the next st, work 2 sc into the next st; Repeat from * until there are 2 sts remaining, sk the next st, 1 sc into the last st, turn. (20 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1, 1 sc into the first st, *sk the next st, work 2 sc into the next st; Repeat from * until there is 1 st remaining, sk the last st, 1 sc into the turning ch, turn. (20 sts)
Rows 3-20: Repeat Row 2
Finish:
- Fasten off, weave ends.
- (Optional) You can add a simple border by joining your yarn with a sl st into any stitch, sc evenly around placing 3 sc sts into each corner, join in beginning sc with an invisible join. Fasten off, weave ends.
6″ Washcloth
Ch 25
Row 1: Work 1 sc into the 3rd ch from hook, *sk the next st, work 2 sc into the next st; Repeat from * until there are 2 sts remaining, sk the next st, 1 sc into the last st, turn. (22 sts)
