Hi everyone! I am absolutely thrilled to have the next designer in the Designer Spotlight series, Marie Segares from Underground Crafter! Marie is a fabulous blogger, designer, crocheter, knitter, entrepreneur, and she now also has her very own Podcast called the Creative Yarn Entreprenuer Show! I was recently interviewed by Marie about my maternity leave and I had such a great time chatting with her and can’t wait to meet her again soon! Marie Segares, the proprietress of Underground Crafter, is a crochet and knitting blogger, designer, teacher, podcaster, and small business consultant. Her designs have been published by Crochet World, I Like Crochet, I Like Knitting, Inside Crochet, Knit Picks, Love of Crochet, Love of Knitting, Pom Pom Quarterly, and more. She teaches crochet and knitting at several adult education venues in the New York City metro area and at regional fiber events. Marie’s blog features free crochet patterns, crochet and knitting book and product reviews, interviews with needlearts industry pros, giveaways, and more. In August, 2014, she launched the Creative Yarn Entrepreneur Show, a weekly podcast for indie business owners in the yarn industry.
