“Hi, I’m Janaya; the Designer behind Charmed By Ewe. I’m from British Columbia, Canada, where I live with my husband and 3 year old daughter. When I was around 11 years old, my mom taught me how to crochet. The only project that I remember working on was a triangular shawl that I’m pretty sure I never finished. That was the end of crocheting for me until about 2-1/2 years ago when I saw the cutest little crochet poncho on Pinterest. I was determined to re-learn the craft so I could make one for my daughter. After brushing up on the stitches and a lot of practicing, I started (and finished) the poncho; then it was on to the next project. A short while later, I started designing my own patterns and have been enjoying it ever since!”
