Title: Every Which Way Crochet Borders
Published by: Storey Publishing, LLC
Author: Edie Eckman
ISBN: 978-1-61212-740-8
Format: Hardcover with concealed wire, 308 Pages
Published: January, 2017

Every Which Way Crochet Borders is the perfect book to add to any crocheter’s collection. There are so many border designs to choose from in various different styles. With 139 different borders, there is something for everyone. There are open, lacy border patterns and closed, tightly-stitched patterns. Each border pattern is unique and beautiful in it’s own way. The patterns vary in skill level with some patterns being simple and others being more advanced.

In this book, Edie goes into great detail about border structure, the importance of colors (both complementary and contrasting), and how to customize your border to create a unique finish to your project. She also touches upon working into different kinds of fabric (crochet, knit, and woven.) The border stitch patterns in Every Which Way Crochet Borders are written in great detail. The vibrant yarn choices make for excellent photos that show the detail of the stitches. In addition to the written instructions, charts are provided for each border pattern to help the reader visualize the stitch pattern. There is even an Appendix at the back of the book that contains useful information on how to read a pattern, a stitch key, glossary, a visual border directory, and more. This book is great for crocheters of all skill levels. Even if you are an experienced crocheter, there are techniques in Every Which Way Crochet Borders that can help take your project to the next level.

Thank you to Storey Publishing LLC and Edie Eckman for providing me with a copy of this book for my review! You can see more about Every Which Way Crochet Borders by Edie Eckman from Storey Publishing LLC. You can also purchase a copy on Amazon!
