Holiday Striped Pillow – Free Crochet Pattern

I’m so excited to share my contribution for this year’s #12WeeksChristmasCAL! If you are not familiar with this CAL, you can find more information about it here. I have created this gorgeous Holiday Striped Pillow for the 12 Weeks of Christmas CAL. It is made with Red Heart With Love, which is a soft and comfy yarn. You can easily mix and match the colors to create this project for a different occasion as well! I hope you enjoy the pattern! Happy Crocheting!

Finish:

  • Now it is time to seam the pillow parts together. Place the front of the pillow right side facing up.
  • Place the top portion of the back piece down on top of the front piece. Make sure to align the top of the back piece with the top of the front piece.
  • Place the bottom portion of the back piece on top of the front piece, overlapping the top portion. Make sure to align the bottom of the back piece with the bottom of the front piece.
  • To keep the pieces in place, I suggest pinning them together with sewing pins.
  • Using the yarn tails and yarn needle, whip stitch around the entire pillow case to sew it closed.
  • Fasten off and weave all ends.
  • Turn the pillow case inside out so that the right side is now on the outside.
  • Align the buttons with the button holes on the back and sew them on using yarn and a yarn needle (or a needle and thread.)
  • Place pillow insert inside of the case and button to close.
