Materials:

• Approximately 268 yds of a Category 4 Medium Weight Yarn; I used Lion Brand Made With Love The Cottony One* yarn in the Flaming Amber colorway
• Size I 5.5mm Furls Streamline Crochet Hook*
• Yarn Needle* for weaving ends
• Scissors*

Easy

Abbreviations:

ch – chain
ch-sp – chain space
dc – double crochet
sc – single crochet
sk – skip
sp – space
st(s) – stitch(es)
[] – indicates instructions to be worked into one stitch
() – indicates stitch counts
* – indicates instructions to be repeated

Gauge:

18.4 stitches & 12 rows = 4″ (in pattern st)

Finished Size:

Approximately 5″ wide and 55″ long

Notes:

• This pattern is written in US terms.
• Sizing will vary depending on how tightly or loosely you crochet. Gauge is not necessary for this pattern but if you would like to keep the sizing the same, please check your gauge before starting this project.

Multiple:

Ch any multiple of 3 sts + 2, plus 1 for the foundation ch

Instructions:

Ch 24
Row 1: Work [1 sc, ch 1, 1 dc] into the third ch from hook, sk the next 2 sts, *[1 sc, ch 1, 1 dc] into the next st, sk the next 2 sts; Repeat from * across, until there is 1 ch remaining, 1 sc into the last ch, turn. (23 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1 (count as 1 sc), sk the first 2 sts, *[1 sc, ch 1, 1 dc] into the next ch-sp, sk the next 2 sts; Repeat from * across, sk the last sc, 1 sc into the turning ch, turn. (23 sts)
Rows 3-164: Repeat Row 2
Row 165: Repeat Row 2, fasten off.

Finish:

• Weave all ends.
