Cup Full of Love Crochet Coffee Cozy
Since Valentine’s Day just a couple weeks away, I wanted to add another cute Valentine’s Day themed pattern to my repertoire that was not only cute, but quick and easy too. I whipped up this quick and easy Cup Full of Love Crochet Coffee Cozy. It makes a great gift and is nice and festive. Happy Crocheting!

Materials:
- Category 4 Medium Weight Yarn in three colors:
- Color A – I used Lily Sugar ‘n Cream* in Robin’s Egg Blue
- Color B – I used Lily Sugar ‘n Cream* in White
- Color C – I used Lily Sugar ‘n Cream* in Hot Pink
- Size H 5 mm Crochet Hook*
- Yarn Needle* for weaving ends
- Scissors*
- (1) 1″ Button

Abbreviations:
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
dc-CL – double crochet cluster
hdc – half double crochet
sc – single crochet
sc dec – single crochet decrease
sk – skip
sl st – slip stitch
sp – space
() – indicates stitch counts
[] – work instructions as many times as directed
* – indicates instructions to be repeated
Gauge:
3 stitches and 3 rows = 1 inch
Special Stitches:
DC Cluster (dc-CL):
- Yarn over, insert hook into indicated st
- Yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook)
- Yarn over, insert hook into same st, yarn over, pull up a loop
- Yarn over pull through 2 loops (3 loops on hook)
- Yarn over, pull through all 3 loops on hook
Instructions:
With Color A,
Ch 33
Row 1: 1 hdc into the 2nd ch from hook, 1 hdc into each st across, turn. (32 sts)
Change to Color B
Row 2-3: Ch 1, 1 hdc into each st across, turn. (32 sts)
Change to Color C
Row 4: Ch 3, sk each of the next 3 sts, [1 dc-CL, ch 1, 1 dc-CL] into the next st, *ch 3, sk each of the next 3 sts, [1 dc-CL, ch 1, 1 dc-CL] into the next st; Repeat from * until there are 4 sts remaining, ch 3, sk the next 3 sts, 1 hdc into the last st, turn. (32 sts)
Change to Color B
Row 5: Ch 3, 3 dc into the next ch-3 sp, 1 sc into the ch-1 sp between the dc clusters, 3 dc into the next ch-3 sp; Repeat from * across, turn. (32 sts)
Row 6: Ch 1, 1 hdc into each st across, turn. (32 sts)
Change to Color A
Row 7: Ch 1, 1 hdc into each st across. (32 sts)
Finish:
- Sc evenly down the side of the cozy.
- Fasten off. Join yarn on other side of cozy and crochet evenly down the side to create an edging.
- Sew button using yarn and yarn needle onto one side of your cozy.
- Join yarn into the center stitch of the edging.
- Ch 6, sl st into the same st as the join (this is the loop to fasten your button.)
- Fasten off and weave all ends.
