I am a huge coffee drinker. I mean a HUGE coffee drinker. I will not talk toanyone until I’ve had my morning cup. Before my husband and I got married, he bought me a Keurig. I loved having my Keurig, since I’m the only coffee drinker in the house. I love that it makes a single serving cup. I would hate making a big pot of coffee and only drink one cup of it before it was cold and stale. With Summer here, it’s hard for me to have a cup of hot coffee without feeling really hot for the rest of the morning. So, when the temperature goes up, I switch to iced coffee. I am absolutely addicted to the iced beverages at my favorite coffee shop (you know, the one with the mermaid 😉 ) and I visit my local one frequently in the summer since I’m out and about with my daughter. She even ends up with one of the non-caffeinated drinks of her own. The only problem is that being $5 a cup, the price of my favorite summer indulgence adds up really fast. That is why I’ve been making more of my iced drinks at home with my Keurig. I love making all sorts of iced drinks with my Keurig. One of my favorite drinks when I go to my coffee shop is an iced coffee with caramel. Today I’m going to show you how to make a better version at home! My recipe is for Dulce de Leche Iced Coffee made with Green Mountain French Vanilla Iced Coffee Brew Over Ice K-Cups. If you’re not a big coffee drinker, like my hubby, you can also make iced tea with the Snapple Brew Over Ice K-Cups. Making any iced beverage with your Keurig is the easiest thing you will ever do since you can brew straight from your Keurig into a plastic tumbler filled with ice!

Last week,  I went to Walmart to do some shopping. I noticed that there was a huge display in the center of the store with all sorts of K-Cups. There were so many different varieties of Brew Over Ice K-Cups. It was really hard to choose which one I wanted and what I wanted to do with them! I ended up scooping up some Green Mountain French Vanilla Iced Coffee and Snapple Lemon Iced Tea K-Cups from the coffee aisle. I couldn’t wait to get home and make some iced coffee for myself!

The Grounds To Grow program offers a way for K-Cup users to return used cups for processing that separates grounds for compost and plastics for re-use. Now Keurig customers have a way to responsibly dispose of brewed K−Cups and help save the environment! You can visit this site to learn more about the program!

  1. The other half is a big coffee drinker, but doesn’t love the cost of brewhouses- We make iced coffee often with Brew Over Ice! #Client

  2. Can you please leave the actual link for the Keurig recycle program? The link didn’t work. I always hate throwing away those cups! I used to open them, empty them, & recycle, but it took FOREVER! I also use (& LOVE) the reusable cups you can buy & use your own ground coffee in, but the cups are SO much easier!! Thx for the tips! 🙂
