I am a huge coffee drinker. I mean a HUGE coffee drinker. I will not talk toanyone until I’ve had my morning cup. Before my husband and I got married, he bought me a Keurig. I loved having my Keurig, since I’m the only coffee drinker in the house. I love that it makes a single serving cup. I would hate making a big pot of coffee and only drink one cup of it before it was cold and stale. With Summer here, it’s hard for me to have a cup of hot coffee without feeling really hot for the rest of the morning. So, when the temperature goes up, I switch to iced coffee. I am absolutely addicted to the iced beverages at my favorite coffee shop (you know, the one with the mermaid 😉 ) and I visit my local one frequently in the summer since I’m out and about with my daughter. She even ends up with one of the non-caffeinated drinks of her own. The only problem is that being $5 a cup, the price of my favorite summer indulgence adds up really fast. That is why I’ve been making more of my iced drinks at home with my Keurig. I love making all sorts of iced drinks with my Keurig. One of my favorite drinks when I go to my coffee shop is an iced coffee with caramel. Today I’m going to show you how to make a better version at home! My recipe is for Dulce de Leche Iced Coffee made with Green Mountain French Vanilla Iced Coffee Brew Over Ice K-Cups. If you’re not a big coffee drinker, like my hubby, you can also make iced tea with the Snapple Brew Over Ice K-Cups. Making any iced beverage with your Keurig is the easiest thing you will ever do since you can brew straight from your Keurig into a plastic tumbler filled with ice!
Last week, I went to Walmart to do some shopping. I noticed that there was a huge display in the center of the store with all sorts of K-Cups. There were so many different varieties of Brew Over Ice K-Cups. It was really hard to choose which one I wanted and what I wanted to do with them! I ended up scooping up some Green Mountain French Vanilla Iced Coffee and Snapple Lemon Iced Tea K-Cups from the coffee aisle. I couldn’t wait to get home and make some iced coffee for myself!
Now, are you ready to see how easy it is to make iced coffee with your Keurig? Here we go.
1. Fill your PLASTIC tumbler with ice. (Do not use a glass cup or tumbler). You can add milk and sugar to your tumbler before adding the ice if you wish.
2. Insert your Green Mountain French Vanilla Iced Coffee K-Cup and place your tumbler under the Keurig dispenser.
3. Fill your Keurig with water up to the 6oz line. Brew your coffee.
4. Give it a quick stir to make sure everything is mixed. Top with whipped cream and dulce de leche syrup. And that’s it! It’s super simple to make your own gourmet iced coffee at home! No need to spend a ton of cash to get your coffee house favorite.

Did you know Keurig has it’s own recycling program for use with K-Cups? The Grounds To Grow program offers a way for K-Cup users to return used cups for processing that separates grounds for compost and plastics for re-use. Now Keurig customers have a way to responsibly dispose of brewed K−Cups and help save the environment! You can visit this site to learn more about the program!
I hope you will give this recipe a try and stop in at Walmart to get the many other great K-Cup Brew Over Ice Flavors! To find some more great Brew Over Ice ideas and recipes, you can search for the hashtags #BrewOverIce and #BrewItUp on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and more!
