We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I always try to start my day off right by having breakfast. It gives me the energy I need to start my day. On the weekends, I usually make a big breakfast for my family but during the week, my go to breakfast food is cereal. I’ve always been a big fan of Honey Bunches of Oats ever since I was a little girl so when I heard about Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy
, I just new that I had to give it a try. Plus, with two great flavors, Cinnamon Crunch and Chocolatey Almond Crunch, I also knew that I was going to have great options.
First, I tried the Chocolatey Almond Crunch because let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to eat chocolate for breakfast? It was so delicious and had a lot of great crunchy clusters, whole grain flakes, sliced almonds and chocolate bits. I felt full and satisfied well throughout the morning.
I tried the Cinnamon Crunch cereal as well and it was great too. It also had the great crunchy clusters with a subtle cinnamon taste. My favorite is still the Chocolatey Almond Crunch. It had me from the start. However, I did decide to put the Cinnamon Crunch into a yogurt parfait and it was wonderful! The cinnamon wasn’t overwhelming and complimented the blueberries in my parfait very nicely. All I did was layer some yogurt, fresh blueberries and Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy
Cinnamon Crunch and I had a great protein packed breakfast.
With 6 grams of protein, 5 grams of fiber and whole grains, this cereal packs a punch. Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy is a great way to start your day. I love that I can have a cereal that is on the healthier side without sacrificing flavor.
