Simple Mesh Market Tote – Free Crochet Pattern

Hi everyone! I hope you are all well! I am super excited to share my latest pattern with you. I created it as part of the 2019 International Crochet Month Designer Showcase hosted by The Underground Crafter. I’m so excited to participate in such a wonderful event that celebrates crochet and crocheters around the world! For the month of March, 31 amazing designers are offering free and discounted crochet patterns to our lovely followers. There is also a chance to win some great prizes as well! You can find all of the information in Marie’s post here. I really hope you enjoy my pattern contribution, this Simple Mesh Market Tote. It is a great stashbuster project and is super fun to make. Scroll down to grab the free pattern!

Before we get to the pattern, I wanted to talk to you a little bit about The Crochet Guild of America (CGOA). CGOA is a national organization that is solely dedicated to crochet. It is a great resource for all crocheters. You can connect with other crocheters through the website or by joining a chapter. They also have a yearly conference where you can meet up with designers and other crocheters and take courses as well! I have been a member of CGOA for several years now and although I haven’t been able to attend a conference, I do enjoy many other perks of being a member. I have access to free patterns and I receive member discounts to some of my favorite stores such as Annies. I also receive a subscription to Crochet! Magazine. I have made many wonderful connections through CGOA and I hope to be able to attend a conference in the near future!

I also wanted to share my amazing experience with my new Laurel Hill crochet hook! The wonderful people over at Laurel Hill graciously provided the beautiful hook that I used for this design. These beautiful hooks are made from exotic repurposed woods and are hand selected, sized, sanded and polished into functional works of art. They also have a unique thumb rest to provide comfort for longer crochet sessions. The Ebony hook I received crocheted like a dream. It went smoothly through my cotton yarn without snagging. I really liked the thumb rest feature. I tend to have a lot of pain in my hands when crocheting for longer periods of time and I noticed that the thumb rest was very comfortable, even with my knife grip. Laurel Hill has so many other products besides crochet hooks so make sure to check them out!

Thank you for sticking with me and reading through my all of my thoughts above. As a special thank you, from now until April 11, I will be offering 25% off any pattern in my Ravelry shop! Use code: NatCroMo2019 at checkout to receive the discount.

Please note: Refunds cannot be made on accidental purchases due to the nature of digital items. Please ensure that the discount code is entered before making your final purchase.
