Fragrance Mist Cozy – Free Pattern

Who doesn’t carry a fragrance mist in their purse? We all definitely carry it. Right? So why not make a cute little cover for it and make it look charming. Here is a free pattern of a simple yet pretty Striped Fragrance Mist Cozy. Make it to fit your perfume bottle size and in any color to match your outfit or bag. It is a very simple and a quick project. Come, let’s make it.
Fragrance Mist Cozy

Materials:
- 100% Cotton Yarn – {I used White, Peach and Gray}
- 4mm crochet hook
- Tapestry Needle to weave in the ends
- Scissors
Abbreviations:
ch – chain
ss – slip stich
hdc – half double crochet
Gauge:
SC – 5 stitches and 4 rows = 1 x 1 inch
Finished Size:
Height: approx. 3.5”
Notes:
- You can make bigger size using a thicker yarn or next size crochet hook or by making a larger base and then make necessary changes in the following rounds.
- Chain 2 in the beginning of the rounds doesn’t count as a stitch.
Instructions:
BASE: {with Gray yarn}
- Ch 4. SS to first ch to form a ring.
- 8 HDC in the ring. SS with the first HDC. [8]
- Ch 2. 2 HDC in the same stitch, 2 HDC in each of the next 7 stitches. SS with the first HDC. [16]
MAIN: {with Gray, White, Peach, White yarn alternatively}
- Ch 2. 1 HDC in the same stitch, 1 HDC in each stitch around. SS with the first HDC. [16]
- Ch 2. 1 HDC in between two HDC stitches of the previous rounds. Continue till the end. SS with the first HDC. [16]
- Repeat the above Round till the desired height. {I did a total of 12 rounds as seen in the picture}.
DO NOT FASTEN OFF.
Finally add a loop to it to hang it anywhere you want like bags, keychain, etc.
HOOK LOOP: {with White yarn}
- With the yarn color from the previous round (after SS to the first HDC), Ch 10 and SS to the previous stitch.
- Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Carry your fragrance mist in style with this colourful cozy.
