Announcing the 2021 Scarf of the Month CAL!
Once again I’m teaming up with my dear friend Rhondda (oombawkadesigncrochet.com) to bring you another year of wonderful scarf patterns! This year we will be joined by a set of eleven amazing designers who will each design a new free scarf/cowl/neckwarmer pattern for you to crochet and enjoy! We will also be hosting the Hat of the Month CAL this year as well! We have a supply list to help you prepare for each month’s patterns. You can find the supply list for both CALs here.

If you are new to The Scarf of the Month CAL, here is how works:
Each month, on the third Sunday of the month, Rhondda and I will each share one free crochet pattern for a traditional scarf, infinity scarf, or cowl/neckwarmer. Our guest designer for the month will also be contributing a new free crochet scarf pattern. By the end of the year, you will have 36 free crochet scarf patterns to choose from to create for yourself and your loved ones or to share as gifts! Something new that we will be doing this year is sharing a post with the yarn and hook needed for each pattern, prior to the pattern releases, so that you can be prepared to crochet them. We will also continue to offer a free PDF copy of each pattern for 24 hours after the pattern release.

If you would like to share your progress, please feel free to add your Ravelry Project Pages for each of the scarves you make! Each pattern post will include a specific pattern link to Ravelry so you can add your own project. Rhondda has put together a great tutorial on how to add projects to Ravelry, which you can find here. We would also love to see your projects on Instagram!
